How to read an MCP detail page on this site

A detail page is metadata, not an installer. Read transport, author, and the description before you wire anything.

Open any /mcp entry. The name and description say what job it claims. Tags and category match a task; they are not a popularity list.

stdio versus http decides whether the process lives on this machine. stdio can see local paths. http sends tokens off the box.

An install field is a starting snippet. Swap paths, secrets, and env vars for yours. This site does not invent star counts.

If it will not connect, use the debug guide. Whether it is worth installing is the evaluate-MCP guide. A listing is not an audit.
