Claude Desktop launches MCP servers from JSON, usually via command and args.
Merge the install snippet from a detail page into mcpServers. Do not wipe servers you already configured.
Check working directories and allowed paths, restart Claude Desktop, then try a read-only action.
The same server config often works in Cursor; only the config file location changes.
