Run claude doctor in the same kind of terminal you use for Claude Code.
User-local binaries are often invisible to GUI apps. Open a new terminal, or put an absolute path in the launcher config.
If doctor passes and the task dies immediately, that is login or permission mode. See the Claude Code troubleshooting chapter.
Install the binary on the same side as the repo. This page does not replace the official installer.
